So they’re finally here: the “Golden Years”. Our bones hurt, our muscles ache, and we don’t remember things like we used to. So much for being “golden”, right? Wrong. We have canes, walkers, wheelchairs, new knees, new hips, etc.; medicine and assistance is always on the verge of catching up with us. But what about for things like going to the movies, listening to music, and talking with friends? Alas, we have DVD players, websites to download music from, and we have social networking sites.

And how about food? Well, can order pizza, subs, and Chinese food either online or over the phone, right? That leaves us with our grocery shopping, and we all know that we’re pretty specific with what we need. Enter grocery delivery. It’s as easy as shopping with online catalogues! There are a couple of different ways to do it, and they’re both very effective.

One way would be to call your local grocery store and see if they delivery. I’ve tried this, and there’s a good chance that they don’t. It just doesn’t seem to be cost effective for people who are already in the business. Thankfully, there are a number of online grocery stores popping up as of late, and all you have to do is find the one(s) to your suiting. Simply search Google for what you’re looking for, find the appropriate store in your area, and check them out. From what I’ve found, the prices range from plain cheap to very expensive, so it’s just a matter of comparing and contrasting, and checking with your budget.
